From 22 March 2014, new provisions were added to Australian Migration Legislation concerning bogus/fake documents provided by visa applicants. As part of these new requirements you must now satisfy case officers of your identity to be granted a visa.
If you are refused a visa because of issues relating to your ‘Identity’ you will be barred for 10 years from applying for most Australian Visas. Thebar also applies to members of your family.
This requirement applies to visa applications lodged on or after 22 March 2014 and all visa applications made, but not finally determined before 22 March 2014.
Even if you have become an Australian Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen, the Australian Government has the power to revoke both if there is evidence relating to the genuiness of the documents, information or identity that you have provided to the Department.
